The third chakra on our navel is the power chakra which distributes energy to the whole body. It is the chakra which makes you active and gives you the enthusiasm to be active and dynamic. Vitality, self-control and will power are attributes that you can see in a person with a strong third chakra. Someone whose energy in the solar plexus chakra is low doesn’t have any drive to do something, feels powerless and has low self-esteem. Its element is fire and you can feel this burning flame in you which gives you self-confidence and life.

The third chakra is also about our role in society. As the first chakra is about yourself, the second enters in duality, the third one relates to you in a group.

On a physical level it coordinates the digestive system and metabolism, liver, gallbladder, spleen and pancreas so that diabetes and all problems with the intestines are related with the third chakra.
