Aagya Chakra – Third Eye of Perception

The seat of intuition, clarity, and inner vision.

The Aagya Chakra, also referred to as Ajna Chakra or Third Eye, is the sixth energy center of the body. Situated between the eyebrows, it is also referred to as Shiva’s Eye and is a very powerful focal point during meditation.

This chakra regulates intuition, inner sight, and the activity of the subconscious mind. It also signifies intellect, wisdom, and memory, those mental instruments which enable us to register truth that is beyond the five senses.

Mind–Body Connection

It is physically associated with the pituitary gland and regions of the brain that regulate superior thinking and body rhythms.

In blocked form, it may induce insomnia, headache, drowsiness, and a sense of mental fogginess.
When balanced and activated, it generates piercing perception, powerful self-discipline, and increased intuition, so vivid at times it might appear to be clairvoyance to other people.
