My expertise and multitude of musical knowledge is represented by the progress and accomplishments of my students. Many of my young students have won a number of prizes in various Music competitions, including the prestigious competitions held by the Madras Music Academy. I have been selected by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Ministry of External Affairs, for inclusion in the panel for deputation abroad as Teacher-cum-Performer in Carnatic Classical Vocal Music. I was awarded the Young Talent Merit Scholarship in the field of Carnatic Classical Music (Vocal) by the Ministry of Culture, Youth Affairs and Sports, Department of Culture, Government of India. I am also an approved graded artiste of the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Andhra Pradesh. I have composed a number of Varnams, Krithis, Javalis, Thillanas etc., and music for Annamacharya Krithis.
Misc. Info: Immersed in her devotion for Kuchipudi dance, Nivedita is an evolved and promising dancer who had her tutelage under Guru Smt. Ramani Siddhi for over 12 years. After her Rangapravesham in Kuchipudi dance in the year 2005, she has been performing on many major occasions all over India along with her Guru. In her keen interests in learning the depths in this sanctified art form, she pursued certificate course in Kuchipudi from P.S.T.U., Hyderabad. She has been invited to represent the Kuchipudi art form in major states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Orissa, New Delhi etc..
